yeah, the problem is that i dont have a 3121 and dont want to spend more money. i suppose i could use the internal on the 800, that works right? u know i have to try with the smargo though but i trust you've already beat your head on it bummer ;-(

Have a look on ebay mate the omnikeys are going for like £7. Well worth it. It will still run very hot in the 800.

I will spend 5 min on this setup once the 0963 is activated. give the smargo a go on the 800 is the first fails. by tonite i will order the omnikey if nothing works. Cheers

right, here we go... the smargo will NOT work with the white 0963 card. B16MCC had already done all the work so I didn't spend any more time nor did I go to phase 2. smargo is out of the picture all together. the card is in the 800; 3 hours now, everything seems to be working ok and the card is not hot. surprise surprise. won't sleep with the fear though and therefore ordering an omnikey right away. if anything is worth mentioning i'll post again

B16 mcc.. how comes i can share from my friends sly card without a cc cam cfg file ( just plain cc cam 2.2.2) , im puzzled ..this is a share from internal card reader on dm 500 ... and i we did was add me user in new cs interface then it appeared in new cs 166 xml file , and i was sharing outside the lan without cc cam cfg perfect ,,,,is this a nomal way to use new cs .as i thought to show as hop 1 you had to use n lines ...anyway i can also share through the cc cam with the desk key dummy n line wa aswell to show as hop 1...but im puzzled how it worked without cfg created outside the lan ,,,, nevermind its working fine ..next up the ubuntu way and omikey ...chers

leez, short answer, impossible ! When CCcam starts it uses certain default parameters if they are not otherwise configured in CCcam.cfg
The best it will do is read the internal card if it is possible to do so. The old 0961 for example.

The default parameters contain no connection info what so ever regardless of whether its LAN , WAN, or localhost.
If you are clearing anything in NDS from 28e with no internal card, then you defo have a config file in place.
If you're using an old enigma1 box its in /var/etc/CCcam.cfg
If you're using a newer enigma2 box its in /etc/CCcam.cfg

Check it out....

soz my mistake ..i did nt have time yesterday , but your the expert m8 ... what i did was after we changed card i tested outside the lan as we were all having probs with this ...but as it happened it was our entitlements seting as it was changing to hop 2..


anyway , eariler i had been having a go at home with old sly still working and had left on the new cs and cc cam ... on box at home .. then i removed both emus downloaded new cc cam ..and bang it was on .... i thought it would of wiped the cc cam config but it must not off....... sorry about the my mistake 'O'-red

I had the white card running perfectly with NewCS, the entitlements shows 15. of Oct.

The past days I could not watch Sly since nothing was decoded, today I put in the digibox and I suddenly get "This programme is not available" on all my subscribed channels. Sly News and so on show perfectly.
Any idea what could have happened?

I've had a similar thing happen the card was showing entitlements but not decoding any channels, back in the sly box and "programme not available" left it in for a day still no luck, I had to to a new install and get the sly box to phone home. Also during this period it managed to totaly kill my blue card that still had a few weeks left on it - bizzare?

Your blue card was kiled due to the phone home that confirmed your swap out to the white card. The reason for the unpairing of your card is ecm flooding from newcs via the n lines, the best way to stop it is dont use n lines, just use the c lines from cccam.

That config is fine apart from 1 setting. <blockga> needs to be set to yes. Allowing Global address EMM's will flood the card and result in massive freezing.

You could of course use my NewCS CCcam config creator which will make you a perfect working config.

I just created newcs.xml with the 0.6.1 v and it still comes up with
