Want to receive thor 6 in Crete, Greece. We are receiving Thor 5 11247 V- T1 - so we are outside the footprint. We use a Prodelin 1.8m. Horizontal at Thor 5 and Thor 6 I am told that we will not be able to receive. Anyone that knows if this is correct - or should I buy an bigger dish - want`s the HD channels that are mostly on THor 6

Seems that you don't trust athensat at _http://en.kingofsat.net/beams.php?s=102. According to reception reports from extreme Northern Greece where 3m are not enough for everything, especially Thor 6, the chances to get Thor 5 Hor and 6 in the South are very small. Always there is a possibility of an unknown sidelobe in your location (could also differ depending where in Crete you are) but this is it what i can say. If anybody might know more about this, then Antonis Zaharioudakis, THE satellite specialist. Here at the bottom you can find his contact details: _http://saloras.gr/
