Hi All
I am trying to install Oscam Ymod on my TM Single using the latest vix image but am struggling as I don't know what files I need and where they go.

What I am trying to do is open the remaining channels with public keys like you did with a TM6902 with a phantom patch

Is the Ymod the one to use with a key file or is there an alternative

Still on a learning curve with Linux so any help would be greatly apreciated

It's pretty simple, you just send the YMOD .ipk file to the receiver by FTP into the directory /tmp. Then press,
Menu-> Setup -> VIX -> Install Local Extension and select the ipk and press ok to install it.

If you haven't got the file do a Google search for:
enigma2-plugin-softcams-oscam-ymod-vix_18.34_all-1.rar

CJ, OSCam reads keys from a card in a card slot. On the other hand OSCam ymod reads keys from a keyfile. That means it can be used to read static keys from file where the encryption system is broken. Pretty much anything where the keys are published on the web, like the BBC feeds on 27W.
