Turksat 42est and arabsat 26 est

Hi guy,

I have a motorised system and 80cm dish and live in north london,I get ASTRA HOTBIRD EUTELSAT but for some reason I cannot get turksat and arabsat is my dish too small??

You should be able to get Turksat. but it is on the extreme of the arc and affected by inaccuracies in installation, more than those in the centre.

 

[Analoguesat]

For 26E make sure you are looking for high bitrate channels on 3A. You wont get any of the other Arabsats in the UK.

The only tp I cant get on an 80cm here in south Scotland is 12026 V

Dubai sport 11192/6000 in Tuksat NTV TURKEY 11892/12800 and TV8 TURKEY 11830/6666 can I get them?

NTV TURKEY 11892/12800 - this is on the East beam so you can't get it from London. NTV Avrupa is at 12715 V 2965 but not sure about the footbal situation on there.

TV8 TURKEY 11830/6666 - you can receive this here but the transmission is scrambled when the football is on.

No (with one exception)


Al Jazeera Sport - no chance its on Arabsat 2D.

NTV Avrupa either doesnt show the football or goes black.

TV8 scrambles.

Dubai Sport is on Arabsat 2D as well... However it is available on Hotbird 13E. Dont expect UK football though.
