Eutelsat 25B is at 31.7 East right now, this might be the IOT location just like Eutelsat 21B almost a year ago!

Eutelsat 25B indeed stopped at 31.7 East according today's TLE.
Gsat 7 wil arrive at 74.0 East on 13 September.

Doha, Paris, 10 September 2013 - Eutelsat Communications (Euronext Paris: ETL) and Es’hailSat announce that their jointly owned EUTELSAT 25B/Es’hail 1 satellite, launched on August 29, has reached geostationary orbit. The sequence for release and deployment of solar arrays and communications antennas has been successfully completed by Space Systems/Loral, the satellite’s manufacturer, and the satellite’s payload was switched on on September 8. EUTELSAT 25B/Es’hail 1 is now undergoing a series of in-orbit tests managed by Eutelsat from its Rambouillet teleport, near Paris.
Eutelsat and Es’hailSat schedule to bring their jointly owned satellite into service at 25.5° East at the end of October. EUTELSAT 25B/Es’hail 1 is designed to serve broadcasters, businesses and public agencies in the Middle East, North Africa and Central Asia via capacity in the Ku and Ka-bands. It will replace the EUTELSAT 25C satellite at the key 25.5° East position to provide both superior geographic coverage and increased capacity to address dynamically expanding digital markets. Following EUTELSAT 25B/Es’hail 1's entry into service Eutelsat will redeploy its EUTELSAT 25C to another location where it will pursue commercial service.

The in-orbit tests have begun Thursday at 31.7°E. Now there are 4 signals for 10 MHz frequencies on 10958V, 11037H, 11693H and 11115V.

I can confirm first test signals from 31.7E position. I receive them on ~10955V, 11035H, 11113V and 11691H. The signal is very weak in my location in Russia.

Would think this satellite will be moving soon to 25.5 east.
Be interesting to see how reception is compared with Eutelsat 25C which varies a lot.

No loss even if I do lose them all - Ive only ever got one channel off 25.5E!

The 25B footprint has an odd lobe over the UK though so Im hopeful.

Assirat is my propagation determinant!!! Hopefully she'll be a bit more powerful and maybe have a more favourable footprint.

Aah , Ive forgotten the eastern beam with that strange western arm , sure you will be able to get its signals .
