What satellites should I be receiving - NI

My Satellite Setup
Techomate 6900
Gibertini 1m dish
Titanium 0.1db lnb
My Location
Northern Ireland
Hi Chris I live in coleraine I have a 1m dish can you tell me what satellites I should get I can go from 8W to 30E the ones that I get are 5w,1w,9e,13e,19e & 28.2e
should I get more

your missing 23.5e 16e 10e 4.8e and probably more - needs aligned or you may jsut need to look harder for them!

Scooby,

You should be able to pull in 7e, 10e, 16e, 23e and 39e on that Gibi + Lnb, perhaps an Inverto Ultra Dark will give you a signal boost on fringe reception.

If you need assistance with your alignment - Chris is yer man..

4.8 - but not the important channels like Viasat from the Nordic Beam, not that far west / north - perhaps 6DB and picture breakup.

Ta for getting back I have a sat catcher machine to bring in the satellites I did this myself I have a gibertini dish and a technomate 2600 which satellite do you line up in is 1w or 5w the motor has to be 0 and the dish lines up straight to 0 as well with the motor to 55.0 degrees is this all correct also what type of signal strength do you bring in to line the first satellite up would this make a diference through the arc

Hi scooby

I normally use 5w to align the dish but you need to set the correct co-ordinates first and then send the motor to 5w then fine tune from there. I will pm my mobile number for you if your stuck mate
