I was wondering, to upgrade my laptop with a USB/Firewire Satellite Reciever.

what options do I have?

Personally I would go for the Twinhan starboxII, as far I know its the only USB reciever that supports USB2. This is required for high bitrate HDTV ETC. But if are never going to be interested in HDTV then the skystar USB is probably the best suppoerted box around.

Twinhan and Technisat are the 2 best supported brands by the comunity, you sould have no major snags with either one.
