I've researched a lot of this subject, in attempts to find cheap receiver with built in spectrum analyzer, but not so much results. So far, results are as follows:

1. Relook 400
2. Tripple Dragon
3. Clarketech HD5000C+, DR HD F16, Technomate TM 6900 Super +
4. Openbox/trimax/etc clones, mostly marked as "SF-30"

anyone knows any models I've missing?

Afraid not as they were manufactured in the late 90s. You can try ebay

Thanks for offer, but this unit seems to be too simple - no zooming, no tp locking....

Nokia 9200/9500/9600 with DVB2000

The box has to be connected to a pc either via rs232 or scsi port. You will need a utility program called DvbEdit, this has the function for the spectrum analyzer. DVBEdit 5.0 build 61 was the last release.

Scanner options:

Much improved scanner. The scanner now generates a calibration scan the first time a particular LNB configuration is used. When this scan is operating, you need to remove all signals from the LNB by simply taping a piece of cardboard in front of the LNB. DVBEdit then uses this calibration scan so that the scanner charts aren't so dependent on the output signal from your LNB and on the sensitivity of the Nokia tuner.

Its been a while since i last used it m8 ( over 6 years ago), sorry can't recall if the screen refresh rate was fast. Don't have the same setup to try and test for you. Only have a laptop with no serial port  and dbox1 is in the loft collecting dust.

Are you sure that the ClarkeTech HD 500 Combo Plus, has a spectrum analyzer, as I cant find any mention of it in any spec for the receiver, when I google it.
Cheers:confused
