I woke up this morning feeling pain in one eye. It was quite red and I could hardly open it.
Had a quite night last night. No drinking or smoking so I couldn't blame it on Alcohol or tobacco.
Then I noticed from my calendar that today is Friday the 13th and I knew that there is nothing to worry about and that I will be alright at midnight.
At breakfast I took one sip of my tea and realized that I put salt instead of sugar. Something that I had never done before.
Eye is still red at 17:00
Oh well, only 7 more hours to go.
Anybody got something "not so good" that happened today?

Only thing that's gone wrong today for me is I slept for too long, but that's pretty much normal for me... :(

Nothing else has happened so far... :)

It was certainly a bad day for the flight 3407 out of Newark airport

I fell off a ladder today so you could say that i don't particularly like Friday the 13th either :-Nooo

My nadges are quite sore where the harness took hold on the downward plunge

Time to get a new harness me thinks :D

You are lucky they did not return to the part of your body from which they originally came when you were a youngster, now that would have hurt

Yes, a bad day for all involved. But, did it happen on the 13th? Not on their local time.

Well, nothing else happened today, fate tried to deal me 5h1t in the form of fresh dog poo in multiple places on the pavement to former neighbour's flat (I was carrying something there for him), but I managed to avoid it... :D

To me, Friday the 13th is just another day, cos if you believe something bad will happen, it will happen, cos that's the way the mind works...

And Nanochicken, just think, you'd have passed as a BeeGee after your fall... :-rofl2

Well I can't equal that fall nano, but had some fun myself today.:)

Parked in the customers drive this morning and as I normally do, propped my three section ladder against the roof rack roll bar at the back of the van and climbed it to fit the microlite standoff.

It felt slightly odd as the ladder appeared to slide away from the van, but what was actually happening was the van moving away from the ladder, I hadn't put the hand brake on. :-rofl2

I jumped off the ladder and managed to slow the van by pulling it and just prevented it from running into the customer's garage door, unfortunately didn't stop the three section ladder sliding down the back door and denting it though.:-ohcrap

Oh, then after doing the aerial, I was taking the cat ladder off the roof and it slightly clipped one of the decorative ridge tiles and knocked the damn top off it, hate the bloody things.

:-lmao :-lmao Hope the dent's not too bad Rolf. Keep the microlyte on the ladder if you can, that's what I do and have another set for small ladder work.

At least you never hit the garage door hey,.. could of been worse.

LAuging too much and I've fallen off my chair, I'll just get up, lol :-rofl2

No, it's two small slide dents, not too bad, just annoying, was more annoyed about the ridge tile, as I've got to try and find a replacement.

I tried keeping the microlyte on the ladder, but it is awkward getting the ladder on and off the roof rack then.

I've got a set of those dents too :-rofl2 One set on both rear doors of my VW Transporter.

Only managed 2 days before the first set appeared :-lmao

Drove off when the ladder was resting against the back of the van :-doh!

LOL, I also have another dent from a 16ft 2" Ali mast which was propped against the back when the client asked me if I could possibly move my van a little. :-rofl2

Just noticed that tomorrow is another Friday the 13th.
This makes it two in a row, but fortunately the next one is in November.
Hope that nobody will get hurt this time.
Here are few things that can happen:
1 - Use a faulty condom
2 - The wife will not have a headache, but you will
3 - Mother in law comes to stay over the weekend.
4 - Car starts smoothly in the evening, drive 50 kilometers, park it, but when you are ready to drive back home, it will not start and you end up paying for the haul back home.
5 - Bread knife slips from fingers, lands with pointed side right through over the left bare foot (happened to me once, but not on F13th)

Have a great weekend :)

I just hope nothing happens to me tomorrow as I have to get a train to Manchester at 6:28am, but knowing what the trains can be like, it'll probably be cancelled, gets stuck or just doesn't appear...
