Why my Bush HD Freesat box can't pick up CNC World

Before I bought Bush HD freesat box, I noticed it has the function of adding non-freesat channels. I already inout a number of my favorite non-freesat channels into the 'mannul list', including The Press TV, CCTV News, Sky News, Travel Channel and Travel+1. What I am looking for is the CNC World. But after I entered 11527/27500 V, CNC World is not displayed. I tried it several times, but it still doesn't work.

I found the 'FEC' is automatically set as 3/4 after I input 11527/27500 V, but the website indicates it should be 2/3.

I look forward to pick up CNC World, as my research interest in the university is International Relations of East Asia. Please help

Well thaths the correct frequency - Ive just flicked over the CNC to have a look.

Can you see any of the other channels on that freq?

Also what is your correct location? Europe covers a large area and reception can vary with a few kilometers under certain condition and what is you dish size?

Islam Channel has already in the Freesat EPG. Only CNC disappears.

May I be able to mannully change 'FEC' from 3/4 to 2/3 ?

I am just wondering if there is a maximum number of non-freesat channels that can be added and you have reached the maximum, what does the manual say?

No up limit for the non-freesat channels. I already deleted quite a lot of 'no sense' channels. Still can't find CNC ...

are all the same 11527 V DVB-S/MPEG-2 27500 2/3 so I am at a loss to be honest

ISTR there is a problem with some units where the receiver is "blind" to certain channels

Cant remember the exact details but its something along the lines if they have been allocated a Freesat epg number but havent launched yet - folks were reporting similar problems with some of the music channels a year or so back.

Thank u Analoguesat for your answer. If it is the case, I can't do anything but to wait for CNC World being added to the Freesat EPG, can I?

What surprised me is CCTV News has been added into Freesat EPG this morning, but I still mannully added CCTV News into the non-freesat channel list a few days ago, when I bought Bush box.


May I ask which Freesat box do you use when you can mannully pick up CNC World?
May I be possibly able to change FEC from 3/4 to 2/3 ?

I use all sorts of receiver - mainly a dreambox 7020 - in fact I dont own a Freesat branded receiver!

If you can pick up channels in none Freesat mode I wouldnt worry too much about the fec being displayed wrong - its obviously correct inside the box as you are getting the channels.

Like I say I cant remember the exact details of why somwe channels cant be added, but there was definitely a similar problem with the music channels on Bush boxes a while back.
