Hi,

Would anybody please be able to let me know if the WinTV-Nova-HD-S2 satellite card is able to decode 4.2.2 feeds in either SD or HD or both?

Llew,

Thx for the info.

What software do you use for viewing the 4.2.2 feeds with the WinTV card and what spec PC is required, also do I need a codec to get the 4.2.2 channels?

The PC I propose to put the card in has an Intel Q9400 CPU (2.66ghz quad core) and 4gb of RAM running Windows 7 Ultimate, do you think that will be enough for the HD channels?

My CPU is an Intel Core Duo E8400 with 3GHz RAM, and an NVidea GeForce 9600GT video card. Viewing software is DVBViewer Pro. OS is XP or Win 7. Having a decent video card can make quite a difference when displaying 4:2:2 or HD channels.

Elecard codec for MPEG2 4:2:2. Cyberlink H264/AVC for HD.

Your Quad CPU should be fine.
