Abu Dhabi's Yas Marina Circuit has acquired the United Arab Emirates (UAE) franchise for the F1 in Schools programme, which challenges students to design miniature Formula One cars. The circuit will host a national final of the competition in early June, which will see a UAE school team qualify for the competition's world finals in Singapore in September.Yas Marina Circuit will also set up an F1 in Schools Centre to enable visitors to the track to experience all aspects of the F1 in Schools challenge, making it the only Grand Prix circuit to have such a facility.
