Sold Channel Master 180 reflector for sale

I need to clean up the garden. I therefore have a used CM180 reflector for sale.
There is some wear and tear, mostly cosmetical (paint peeling), but the rim is cracked in a couple of places (does not affect performance).

Price is EUR 100.

I am posting here first to allow satellites.co.uk members early warning.
I will put on DK version of ebay a little later today.

Note: This is the reflector only, no feed-arms, LNB holder or mounting bracket included.

This is nice dish! I doubt you will easily find same dish when you need it again. Think twice and maybe reconsider selling intent. Are you really short of 100 EUR? Those plastic dishes (Andrew, Cm, Prodelin etc.) are best available ever made. 10-20-40 and more years do nothing for geometry of those dishes. Yes, from time to time you need some washing to be done and that is all maintenance.

All so true Rima, it took me four years to get my hands on one at the right price £250 I paid and it was brand new,

But I would love CJ to have this dish it would be going to a good home and get plenty of use, and I can tell how much he would love one , good luck CJ .

I know, I have another one mounted pointing at 28.2E. Local regulations limit the number of large dishes I can keep in the garden. She also requires that dishes are pointing at something sensible, rather than just standing around leaning against a wall... I'm afraid I have no garage in which to hide, I mean, store 180 cm dishes ;)

Clean the dish, hang as high as possible in the garage, and mount a lamp so it becomes a huge light armature.

I will try and find out during next week. Perhaps a removals or haulage company can give us a good price.
And, we have to keep in mind I can source a brand new one (reflector + feed legs) for about 315 GBP (EUR 400).

I got it as is from a broadcast company clearing out their storage. I bought it together with a complete 120cm VisioSat and a CM120 mount (no reflector) + assorted galvanised tubing for mounting. I did attempt to see if there was anything like feed-legs or mounting brackets available for the CM180, but to no avail.

Yes - but it still requires a garage, which I am still slightly amiss of.
Actually the inverse is much more fun: Cover the dish in mirror tiles, and point it at the sun and see what kind of temperature can be obtained in the focal point! (have seen this done with zone 1 dishes, a CM180 should prove way more fun)

Not really trying, you could easily hide it behind the next 2.4 or 3.8m satellite system you install at the property

Hi Samoloko, yes I think the mount is around that weight, I will be starting work back on the project soon.

Reflector is now sold (to a - sort of - local buyer. He's from something like 400 km away, but still in DK).
I had to make new arms for it - interesting challenge, but I learned quite a few things.

I wish the new owner good look with the reflector.
