I have got my Premium 3 and had a play around with it for a couple of weeks now. Sensitivity is about the same as my Dr.HD d15. The blind scan is very fast and thorough but like all receivers miss an occasional channel.
Part blind scans are not possible on universal lnbs yet so I have had to create a low band and a high band dummy satellite to get round this. Updates to the software are frequent at this stage so hopefully this will be sorted soon.

An unexpected feature is that the receiver found 12718 H on Eutelsat 12 west and managed to list some channels. I can see the logo Marcopolo at the top of the screen on one channel and am getting sound and a broken picture. As this is a multistream transponder I am excited about the potential feature this could mean if improved. The Dr.Hd sees nothing of this.

I will post updates as new software comes out.
Can you post some screenshots of the menus etc please ? I have the X2 and the iSmart 8 which physically looks exactly the same as the III version so intrigued about it...

The menu on the x2 III is entirely different then the x2 premium, it's very similar to the openbox/skybox menus. Tuner sensitivity is excellent and blind scan speed is really fast but the x2 mini is faster but has a tendency of missing more tp.

I got it for half the price being quoted on a certain auction site but had to wait a couple of weeks for delivery.

I am still in 2 minds about the receiver. I like the wireless built in and the speed and accuracy of the blind scan . Blind scan is important to me, however part scans are not working properly. I also had a problem with 2 buttons on the receiver pushing in but the manufacturer immediately sent a replacement front section for me to fit and they extended the guarantee. They always answer emails.
The software graphics are in need of tidying up. Hopefully they will take care of that by software update which is available wirelessly as an item in the menus.

Hmm how did you get it for half the price etc ? Can you PM details if you don't wish to say on here. I don't think any blind scan is perfect...but way better than they use to be just a few years ago

Sadly, except for me luckily, the price has shot up since my purchase in October and purchasing direct from China is not a cheap option at the moment.

The current version is aimed st the American market and comes with an American satellite database and plug. I had to create a European database myself.

The m1 hd is definitely not a linux operating box. I tested it out with dismal results, especially on c band. It's menu is identical to the x2 mini and I found it extremely buggy- the x2 team will need to address many issues for this receiver in order for it to work properly. It's a good thing I only paid $30 US for it.
