Seems like I have fixed it did a reset on the motor and also found that the box had a west limit set. wasnt set before so it seems to be moving around ok now.

No idea about softwear limits but has been fine for a year. Have tried hitting the reset button on the motor if I have hit it seems a strange one. But appears to do nothing.
I have a SL65 which is motorised now for the last few weeks it will not moved west. I have been able to move the dish manually and checked all the cables and everything seems fine.

No chance with a pole being contrated in. What about using a wall or end fence post. The house is not in a great postion for fixing a dish.

I have the good old SL65 setup. It is attached to my garden fence using all the little bits and piceces. Now its great flicking around and finding new stuff but sometimes when I want to move things to something I cannt be bother going out and playing around.
So I think its time to add a motor...
With my wonderful 39cm camping dish I can get all the transponders that are over the UK but on a clear day I can get Spot 3 beam. And sometimes K2 beam
