I am sure it is somthing like that since I couldn't image those channels having a problem like this for so many weeks / months...
I basically posted this to make sure that it isn't something related to the satellite.
But what? Certainly nothing of mine and why only those few channels (not that I am complaining ;) ).
And it's at 6PM to the second, 7 days a week.
Are there any devices / sensors that might help me figure this out?
every single day I am seeing a half a second glitch on these channels at exactly 6PM (ITV1 Central West - not ITV1 London) on transponder 10758 V.
Has anyone noticed this as well or is this maybe some kind of interference from something in my neighborhood?
All the other channels / transponders...
The reason I didn't give this information is that it shouldn't be necessary. I know about all the reasons causing freezes / glitches. What I want to find out is if one can distinguish a glitch caused by bad reception (no matter where you are you always have a bird sitting on your dish when it's...
Hi,
is there a way to determine what was causing a picture freeze / glitch, whether it was because of 'just' bad reception or if the decrypting didn't work (using DM7020 / DM8000)?

That's just my point...
A time-shifted channel is supposed to provide the EXACT same data (a different station logo being the ONLY difference), just an hour (or whatever) later. If they use a higher compression for these channels they are useless.
Where / how do I find out if this is really...

Not quite, I used the regular Windows calculator to get the hex value (which was 8 characters no leading zero) and then (just for the fun of it, and to see if there was some kind of little / big Endian thing going on) I used your program to compare. It created the 9 character hex code that had...
Give me a few hours, my card is supposed to arrive today...
UPDATE: it does work with the 8 character hex number, no leading zero. I didn't try adding 1 or 2 leading zeros.
If I understand this correctly, the boxkey should be 8 characters. My hex converted serial is 8 characters long without a leading zero yet your program adds one making it 9 characters. Is this on purpose?
