Guys.

Need a lil advice.

I'v moved my set up.

Bit closer to the house. But overhanging fence, which neighbors might not like..you recon i could get away with lowering the dish and still picking up the sats?

Im getting AGC of like 90% on 1w...i havent properly set anything up yet to pick up any channels so i presume this seems to be working to an extent, im going to line up for a sat tomorrow when i have more time. all i did today was make it plumb 100%.

now, also do you think i could get away with a smaller dish? this is 80cm i think...i want to pick up 1w -> 28e

cheers

Can you please post more details of any channels you find, frequency, S/R. Polarity.
I've located a Map Sat channel on 13E, 10873 V 27500, which is FTA

Hi mate A 80cm is the smallest dish you can use for 1w and 28e the 80cm dish is fine.If i understand correctly you have found 1w and use the usals to drive to 28e and your getting a 13e channel? if so then your defo doing something very wrong lol. have you read the tut with pics? the best thing to do now is drive the motor to zero and take a photo from the front/back and repost also when you are getting the snr/agc in sat finder sounds like your on the wrong sat m8 take a screen shot of this also and post and scroll threw the different tp's.
