Morning all !
Just fitted a 1.2 metre dish with my Pace 430 Sky box, here in the Canary Islands.

Using default 11778, I get no signal recieved, and no channels.

Reboot box using 12129, I still get no signal recieved, but do actually get Sky news, bbc news, five, itv1(using add channels); network = 0002, but transport stream = 07de ?

Is there a way of getting 0002 and 07d4 ?

As far as I know 07d4 is the Astra 2 north beam stream, which includes the 11778 frequency that you cannot get.

Remember that the signal test screen on a sky box tends to show (99.9% of the time!) the strength and quality of 11778 - hence why it can show no signal (for 11778), but you can still get channels (that are on other frequencies)
 
Tp 12.129 is on 2A South Beam, should get that on a 120cm. With this dish size at South end of Lanzarote, the North beam can be received. Are you sure the dish is correctly set up?
 
Hi. In GC we use 11739V for the default TP. We also turn off the EPG background music. Everything then works fine.
 
Remember that changing the default transponder is only to help the sky box boot up when it cannot receive the data from 11778 - it does not make channel reception last longer - as the sky boxes will override the DT frequencies for the frequenciy it needs for the channel you are watching. on 12129 there is S4C and 1 other, on 11973 3xITV and another thats all.
And no matter what you do, if you press Sky Guide, Services, Interactive, or Box office on your Sky RCU, the box will always try to look for 11778 as that is where the EPG backgorund music is located - even if you have turned it off!

Satelliteman, when you say is dish set up correctly, I thought if you got network of 0002(which I do), then it was setup OK;is it possible you could tell me what else to do, as each time I do a signal test on the Sky box( Services,4,6) it seems to show a different transport stream each time! ie 07de, then it may change to 07ee, then 07e5 etc, etc ?? As you can tell, I'm not too clever at this, but I'm willing to learn from a master (best grovel mode in action)
 
Pay particular attention to LNb skew adjustment. If you can, get yourself an in line meter to peak the dish.
