Is this a CM 1.8M offset dish with support arms? Any type of mount / stand?

Yes it’s a cm1.8 offset dish with the arms. The pole mount went a few weeks ago.

Nobody seems to want them or more likely pay for them these days. Seems to be more people go for iptv. I still have four dishes up which I use for feeds

Its a sign of the times int it? Our hobby is going the same was as amateur radio - the hobbyists are ageing and theres fewer & fewer people coming in to replace the ones that die off

The 1.8 won’t be going in the skip it’s off to a new home next week.

I did sell my CM 1.8m recently but it was complete with polar mount, dual axis tracking, etc..

It did have a pole mount when I got it. Half of the pole mount got used for the 2.2 I got from Moonbase. I still have a 1.2CM on a 1224 motor that I advertised a while back but no one was interested in buying. That is going to have to come down as I want to put up a 1.5 of pointing at 7 east for football feeds.

Yes I remember following your thread on your 1.8m CM project way back in May 2015 when you said '....... I picked up a 1.8m Channel Master dish. For me, it's the Holy Grail of dishes........' Channel Master/Laminas 1.8m project

Unthinkable then and for me even now of putting a CM into a skip........glad to see that 'Pipedream' has found it a 'new home'........good result.

I'm always on the lookout for a CM 1.8 or a prime focus dish but since I don't drive, I can only rely on local or nearby ads. I currently have 5 dishes mounted for sat tv and Ham radio purposes and wouldn't mind getting a few more.
