Not the most aesthetically pleasing, but hopefully is will do the job. It can be -6 in the winter with strong winds.</p><p></p><p style="text-align: left">I drilled 4 holes for the 16mm rods. The rods went in approx 30cm (after 30cms it is air space) using a wood template to site the rods correctly in the concrete, making sure then support was exactly vertical.</p> <p style="text-align: left">I then made a 70cm x 70cm steel reinforced concrete base on top of this, which took 3 barrel loads of cement. </p><p></p><p style="text-align: left">I decided to try a Inverto black Ultra LNB with this setup. Inverto have spent some time on the packaging, making it look good in the box, but falls short on the basics, for example there were no F1 connector covers included (at least in mine). That said you should never judge a book by it’s cover.</p><p></p><p style="text-align: left">I am getting all 2D channels 24/7, though occasionally on some days a small amount of breakup around 23.00 on the BBC2 Transponder.</p><p></p><p style="text-align: left">Heavy thunderstorms and I loose the signal on 10773H in the evening, but then again at 1350m above sea level there is no thunder above as I am in the middle of the storm. I will still try a Invacom QDF-031/feedhorn at some point to see if it makes any difference.</p></blockquote><p></p>
