hi this dish 1.8 fortec star any good for nilesat or 26 badr i am thinking getting one from mxxxlin for 99 pound
 
No, it is pile of poo.

Apparently possible to get those satellites on it, with a lot of effort though, a couple of members have managed it.
 
Dont waste your money - they are terrible! They perform way below their size unless you have loads of time to keep readjusting the dish - and chance's are it'll fold up in a good gale :D
 
They will give you reception if you are thinking of a relocation to Algeria/Tunisia

Can't you get bad4 on your 1.3m motorised dish?

The best as far as I know is the (formerly) Channel Master 1.8m offset, but its an offset.
 
yes with my garbitini 1.3 i get badr 4 but i need 1.8 for badr6 ad sport
 
I still think that to get admc sport in the uk 24/7 in all weather conditions on Badr 6,you have to be looking at a 3.0m + dish.with my 2.4m dish on badr 6 i lost all signal in the rain.
 
if i needs 3.0m for badr 6 what sieze for nilesat

ok i found 1.8 andrews with azel mount for £ 800 i think is to expensive
now i wait till nilesat 201 go to service once again thank you for all help
