11W (Express AM44)

CJ & SatSearcher, do you have ffdshow MPEG-4 decoder installed and in use?
Click the wrench/screwdriver icon to check this.
If not installed there is a download link somewhere in 4T2 (in the About tab maybe?)

Hi hvdh,

Yes, i have ffdshow installed, but i don't think that's the problem, i can't get the channels to show up on the main Input/Output tab. If i change the frequency to 11653H, all the channels on that transponder show up immediately, but the only place the channels are listed from 11685H are on the T2-MI tab, and i can't get them to show up in any other part of the program.

SS, you need to wait up to a minute for the channels to show up on T2-MI tab... Then click on the "PLP 0" option and they should now show in Video tab.

Already tried that, doesn't work! Tried everything i can think of but no luck!

Whehey, it works! Had to enable codecs in settings from About tab.

SS, can you post some screenshots? Once I select the highlighted option, all the videos appear in the video tab.

Glad you got it working, no luck here however! When i select the circle at the side of the PLP 0 option, the program seems to lose the signal, and i need to restart the program for anything to work again!
This is what i have before selecting it:

This is after:
06.webp
Not sure why this happens, it's quite annoying!

Ah yes, I had the same problem when tuning directly from 4T2. I had to kick it off from Crazyscan using a UDP connection to get this working....

Thanks Captain Jack, got it working using that method, although took 3 or 4 attempts, first couple of tries crashed the program!

Hi, I am the developer of the 4T2 Content Analyser, an I am happy to help, if possible.
Could you record a piece of the TS and send it to me (edomning (at) 4t2.eu) via wetransfer?
Also give me the sat/freq/etc. settings, maybe I am able to reproduce the situation here in my office.

Hi Ekkehard welcome to the forum, nice to see you've joined, glad I linked you via email now :)

These Russians, which I don't have any problems with are on 11W 11685 H 17246 2/3 DVB-S2 8PSK using T2MI.

But I've always gone via CrazyScan or EBSPro

Edit - When directly tuning I can easily recreate the problem, when I select T2MI stream your software fails to finds anything.

I was not able to get the 11W in, 12.5W yes, but 11W not. Maybe you can point me to a different sat, I am able to see 5W, 19.2E ...

Only T2MI broadcasts otherwise needs multistream support so wouldn't be able to tune with 4T2?

I would also like to welcome you to the forum Ekkehard ..
Your excellent software is appreciated by many here ...particularly TBS card users ...
Btw ..is it neccessary that his posts have to be vetted by moderation Admin ?
..or is this automatic procedure for new members ?

For the described problem (TS loss after selecting a specific PLP in the T2MI service), I need a T2MI transmission :-)
The T2MI is the feeder stream to the modulator. The modulator will put the different PLPs of the T2MI stream on air (some times the services becomes encrypted there). The terresrial receiver has than to select one of the PLP during tuning. This process is the same like selecting the ISI in DVB-S2.

Multistream is a different issue. The content there is BBFrame instead of TS-Packets.
I made a small program to extract the content of a file containing this stream of BBFrames into several TS-Files. This feature will be integrated into the 4T2 Content Analyser soon (but not tomorrow)

It's an automatic feature of the forum software I'm afraid. The Mods and Admins approve the posts as soon as we can. A few more posts and it won't happen again.

And welcome to the forum from me as well.

I found and fixed the bug (being unable to switch to a particular PLP in a T2-MI transmission received by XTASI-S2+and TBS. Version 0.9.61 is ready for download (http://www.4t2.eu/ccount/click.php?id=1).
The reason was a too small buffer, which was not able to take one bunch of the hardware. BTW, it was reported in the log file as a continuos "internal buffer overflow" .
I was able to use the T2-MI test stream on 5W, 12669 H, DVB-S2/8PSK, Root 8 which contains one PLP with the RS "Diver" in.
Please, next time you run into trouble, let me know earlier.

...and a welcome from me Ekkehard. Your program and subsequent feedback here is much appreciated :)

I have just tried 11W again with newest build and its still having the same problem directly tuning.

Here is my log:

As allways, found only the second last bug. :-(
I saw in the log that you are using the BDA interface (not the XTASI-S2+ / TBS), and I did not checked the BDA interface, since I expected that I would be unable to lock to the "Root" "8" thing.
I will try tomorrow morning, and let you know.

Thanks for all your efforts mate, you've opened up something great to us hobbyists.
