12.5West.

Is anything actually on these birds anymore? They have been removed from LyngSat too

only "data" transmissions...just like nothing for us...or?

Thought so, Miss the days of most the BBC and SIS Live OBs being on 24.5w and 12.5w! Were good birds.

Maybe something may end up @12.5W after the launch of Hotbirds 13F & 13G 2nd qtr. 2022,
That will release 3 satellites from 13E FlySat Hot Bird 13B/13C/13E @ 13° East,
5 west also needs back up capacity,

There is no news at this time since the last visit to 12.5W.I scanned the satellite again and the same transponders are active, none more,at least in my area.

Has anyone seen any activity on this satellite lately? Been trying to save its position on a new dish but not seen anything thus far.
There is no change on Eutelsat 12 West E. Same Data transponders with S2x extension found this summer.

Satesco's latest post reminded me of this thread and my post.. I forgot to post, I saw some BBC London Marathon OBs on 30w! Not a bird I usually check for UK OBs, worth noting for others too :)

Neither do I...very interesting..

occasionally you can find BT sports feeds on 30 west

That would make sense as it was BT who uplinked the Marathon rather than the usual NEP (SIS)

Absolutely correct, I have a big drop in SNG satellite newsfeeds over the last few weeks..
A BBC North West cameraman on Twitter has posted a thread with photos from the SNG van, seems like they are using 8°W now:
