Just looked again at the post that mentioned it over on the DS forum - there seems to be some dispute as to wether its DVB-S or -S2. It does seem to be mpeg4 though as its moved over to sr 29500.

I can get a channel labelled 4050 on my standard def DB 7020 although I can see anything of course.

It is DVB-S, and my TS analyser informs me it's not encrypted in Videoguard (or anything else apparently).

I've tried various codecs, but all I get is an impossibly blocky picture.

Thats a bit of a kit kat logo over on the right!!

Sorry, it is DVB-S2. What channel is (or was) it supposed to be?

Dunno - one person thought it was Penthouse HD, but thats the only suggestion Ive seen so far. Then again it could be Fashion TV - they are going HD soon

At the moment I can get "4050" in DVB-S mode, SR 29500, but my TM6900 says it's scrambled in NDS. Just one audio track is listed as "English(Dolby D)".

Yes, checked again with the analyser, and it is DVB-S H264 video. It does show as Videoguard encrypted, but normally in my analyser Sky encrypted channels are highlighted in red; this one is black (unencrypted). Maybe that's why I can resolve a picture of sorts. A mystery indeed.

Sky 1 HD at present.

Hello,

you´re right, Llew! SR is 29515.

Best Regards
Edgar.

I've just scanned it but I can not see a VPID only loads of null packets.

Here's my analyser output Remlap. I'm using the same setup as you I think. -

Yes, I'm using Transedit. I get the same as you now - I think the rules have changed :-rofl2

Further investigation needed.

Glad its just not my card.

Now DVB-S2 and 29500, going to DVB-S2 increased the bandwidth by 3 Mbps ish.

Nothing showing here now in any flavour.

Still there or its back now and its missing no packets now on anything.

On my TM6900 it's SR 29500, FEC 3/4, DVB-S2 QPSK, Pilot off with one channel "4050".

No picture though but I don't have an HD sub.
