Ok, after weeks of tooling around, I finally got my "final" set-up :) The 80cm Schwaiger (steel) dish is focused on 28.2E and the 45cm DigiDish is focused on 13E with 19.2 on the side. I would have like to got them all on one dish, but I have some obsticals in the way, and this was the best I could do.

I'm in Switzerland, so 13 and 19 are very strong, but 28.2E is a little weaker, well, some tp's are strong, but others very weak, so this required a larger dish. Unfortunately couldn't get 13+19 on the same 80cm dish, and had to break out a seperate dish for them. I plan to add some more plants around the dishes for "camo"

hello,
if you do not have a sky box uk then you can use a toridal dish.
it is curved in a way so you can add 3 to 6 lnbs on it.
this way your disc switch can be run by one receiver.
if you have sky uk then you will not be able to do this.
sky uk does not support disec switches .

ps nice job

Really neat solution (just like your garden lol)

Nice and neat! A bit like Switzerland. ;)

Whereabouts in CH are you? I installed a few standard Sky zone 1 45cm mini dishes in the Basel (BL) area with no problems about 10 years ago. A few Astra 2D channels would drop out during a heavy thunder storm but otherwise the signals where very good. I think we where in a lucky hot spot/mini-side lobe area. I heard the signal drops a bit as you head towards Zurich.

Yes, I agree with other posters; very nice installation. Lives up to my preconceptions about a swiss installation

I only wish I could get away with that size dish for 2D - i need a 180 cm dish here. 8(

Thanks guys. Yea, I made the installation nice and neat so (hopefully) neighbors don't complain ;) I'm not Swiss, but been here long enough to have been beaten into conformity, ha-ha ;)

Woo-hoo! My neighbor cut down a bunch of trees/bushes yesterday and now I'm getting a near prefect LOS to sats in the range of 20-30E. So now my reception of 28.2E went from borderline (30-40% quality) to 95% quality on all channels, including some TP's that I wasn't getting before  So I swapped out my 80cm Schwaiger dish for a 60cm Kathrein CityCom, since the signal was TOO strong with the 80cm, plus the 60cm is less visible to nosy neighbors :)
