New transponder details 12718 H 6250 new symbol rate & all tv now FTA :)
 
On 12718 H 6250 this morning,
National TV was running a funny series in Hindustani with Romanian subtitles and zzzip , ecrypted it at 11 AM
A sad day for Romanian hindustani-speakers!
 
The Indian soaps are popular in Romania. My mother in law watches them. I wonder why they bother encrypting.

Does anyone know the new modulation, symbol rate and FEC of 11231 and 11387 frequencies (Total TV package) on Eutelsat 16A?

12569 V is active and the entire package is running. Checked now.

You probably have a weak signal.
 
Working for me on 12568 still. Seems to have been removed from Lyngsat and Flysat though!

is it on same level as the Albanian public tv mux? then no hope unless i get a biggerdish of course
 
The Romanian channel package is still there. Sometimes the signal strength goes up, and sometimes it goes down. Right now, I have a weaker signal than usual.

It was supposed to be gone today but is still running. The website for the provider, freesat.ro, is gone.

I appear to have an issue with 16E , very few transponders are working (DM and Favorit)

A few channels did leave, including Warner and Cartoonito, and according to Romanian sources some of the other channels left and then also came back. All very strange. The business was profitable from their last records. It’d be nice if someone took it over.
 
If all the channels are free perhaps they don't need a website anymore.
They might have moved to social media which would not have the overheads and maintenance costs of a website.
