The MII is a card, which at present can only be used for Conax, the updates for this are usually very quickly available after a change.

how can u get the new k*y to the card faster than it can be added to mary´s?

Sorry, I'm a little slow on the uptake can you please explain "faster than it can be added to mary's"

Mary's key file can be downloaded and ftp'd into the keys and scce directory in your dreambox. Or with the right image and box connected to internet, box can get them itself. But there is usually a delay between a key change and new Mary file becoming available. For 1W, you actually only need rskeylist file which goes in scce directory. Sometimes that comes quicker. As a back up, I have an Mii card in the lower slot and newcamd selected. If mary's keys are up to date, then they are used first -- faster switching. When they change, then I reload the card and put it back in and the card takes over. When Mary is updated, like last night, to deal with MV/T*S change, it was worth getting it. After a while, its a routine, like shaving, you feel better when its done.
 
Thank you for that explanation haggard, the reason the MII card is quicker than any other for Conax changes, is strictly down to the great guys at teamPDK, long may they continue their great work.

First thank you both for reply.
connect through net gear and into adsl .got peterpan on tried others looks the best but will try more it takes longer to get satalites on then to set up using total commder for ftp.Got latest softcam30/1204 but dont know whot to do with it????
 
I used PP for a while but had problems with the Internet downloads (if you know what I mean)

You should be able to download what you need automatically with a few button presses.

Have you tried the colour buttons and the menu options that appear?

Currently running Hydra Zeus from USB.
 
!metre dish disq motor got most sat 1west to 23 east .3lnbcan get into var and can transfer files but which ones to where I look at the idiots guide and it does not say ok so im thick please help

Hi again Yorkie
Dont know much about the peter pan image. Try and load the latest Hydra image (Zeus) using flash wizzard 4.5. Tune in a Sat and set up your communications panel. Then using green button download the latest control panel. Using green button again download latest keys (marys 30/12) & download cams (newcamd 5.25). If you need any more help you could read the Guide at top of dreambox section or post and we will try and sort you out.
