2 Dishes and 2 receivers

Hi everyone hope to get some help from this great site. First off my setup I have a
motorised dish and a fixed mini dish. In my living room is my DM800hd and in the conservatory is my Technomate 9100. the technomate is connected to both dishes
via a 2way disqec switch and works fine (not controlling motor) the living room
is only connected to motorised dish. What i would like to do is connect both dishes
to the DM800 using another switch. I know that the receiver has to be connected
directly to motor and motor to input of switch. the outputs to the tow dishes. This does not work for me in that I cannot seem to move the motor. I am sure it is something
to do with my setup within the DM800 and this is were I require some help. What is
the configuration i should i be using ? any help much appreciated.

Correct, the switch needs to be inserted between the LNb and motor. Input two feeds from dishes and the output to the motor.

The motor should move without setting DiSEqC configuration. Current consumption will be very low so no trouble with overload.

Check connections again in case of a s/c.

I found that on my TM600, it was possible to connect the switch to the receiver, and then run a cable to the motor and to the other fixed dish, worth a try I suppose if you can't get the other configuration to work properly.

Yes I see from the above thread. Settings as LNb1 for motor committed - AA and LNb2 - AB, if that is correct, not something I've tackled to be fair.
