OK, and yes I have two pairs of them here, but I've just realised you are using a non- Channel Master clamping system for the feed assembly
The issue will be cutting off the outer grooving that are part of the moulding, and getting what remains to slot neatly in the clamp. Additionally the grooving is designed to clamp the feed at the exact focal point. Without these, you have to use a meter to get everything peaked up.
You may also find the ability to 'skew' the feed into the right position is affected unless you slacken the clamping bolts off completely.
Are your adaptors the same as the ones attached to the feedhorn in this photo? I believe they are the ones that come bundled as standard with the feedhorn and look like they would fit a typical 40mm clamp without modification. I could be completely wrong about that though!
