What size dish for that result at your location ? Checking footprint, 90 cm , 100 cm ?

Hi @blademedia , it´s not on the MENA beam, but the east MENA beam, as per the link I posted earlier ( 35 ) even worse, I have no hope from here!

thanks thought it was Mena beam still a chance of Mena and NWA beam then, no chance of east Mena beam from my location

Guys first reports from different eu countries regarding receiving MBC pack @ 11270 V 27500 5/6 DVB-S/MPEG
a) Macedonia - 105 cm
b) Serbia - min 120 cm
c) Croatia, Slovenia - min 150 cm
d) south Germany - min 180 cm
e) Romania - min 110 cm
f) rest of Europe - France, Uk - hopeless

No chance of reception in the UK with the Badr-7 East MENA but it may be possible with the Badr-7 North West Africa beam.

A couple of new signals have been reported on BADR 7, 10970V 27500 5/6 on the NWA beam, and a data signal reported on 11159H 22962 2/5 on the MENA beam. Not getting anything on 10970V, but getting 6dB on 11159H, so maybe some hope of getting the MENA beam in the UK when more signals start.

As CJ says this is the 'New thread for reception reports' thought I would post here but referring to recent postings/sightings in:-

Earlier in the week we here were receiving nothing on 12284 V 27500 5/6 but a scan this morning shows it at 9.9dB and now gives the MBC package.

As 11270 V 27500 5/6 has been confirmed as Badr 7 and not receivable here (East Mena beam) I guess that 12284 is still coming from Badr 4, although shown as switched off on Flysat.

Just to answer the post by 'ocean04' who asks '......Btw, do you get Badr5 12303H 27500, this is also close to lock.'............then yes, which is at 12.5dB.

Nice result..........FEC 5/6 tells the story. With the 1.2m can only see the bleed from 28.2ºE ie:- 11267 V 27500 2/3........failed!
