Correct me if I'm wrong but all BBC variants etc. are on the Astra 2D. Same position of course, but can you scan Astra 2D in the menu? Most FTA channels are on Astra 2D and the Eurobird (only a few on the 2A and B). Channel 4HD is on the new Astra 1N (temporarily at this position).

FYI Those channels are on 10936 V (19.2 E) and are encrypted. At 28.2 E 10936 V is on the Astra 2D (ITV 1 Granada HD and STV HD).

Is signal quality the quality of the signal passed down the coax from the lnb to the receiver? if it is and it`s showing 0% quality it`s proberbly the coax cable

could you get a small run of coax cable from the lnb to the receiver (if you can bring the receiver and a tv to the dish) and do a scan for new channels, see if you get any, if you do then its a cable problem

in any case if it is a propper Freesat box from the uk when you do a factory reset the box should default to 28E in freesat mode shouldnt it?
