Well I have got my 60cm dish on the tripod in the garden. I have not had much time since my last posts to have another go at tuning.
Anyway had a quick go last night hooked it up to my humax freesat box and tried to tune. It was getting 100% signal & 90% Quality but Flashing on and off all the time, one second the strength bars were straight across to 100% the next second nothing???
I was wondering what this is ? I must be almost there. The sat meter I have is squarking its head off. Is it maybe the lnb position?

Try taking off the sat meter. I had one do that to me a while back, don't know what was wrong with it though.
 
If its an inline meter you are just introducing unwanted noise to the receiver.As suggested,lock the dish remove the meter and I reckon you are there.
