a dear friend and colleague of mine bought a 3648 piston to do some tests, and also out of curiosity, its extended length is 240cm and the time to extend to the maximum is 150 seconds
the product is available in Italy

Can you take/post pictures of the gearbox interior and the waterproof gaskets/ covers ?

The first impression is not good (cable diameters etc.)

Does the gearbox give different noise under extend/retract operation ?
 
it seems that the noise is the same in the 2 directions
sounds louder than 36-inch models
this was reported to me
 
Looks very similar to my cheap 18" unbranded actuator.
