Would a mod/admin please consider if this topic should be moved to the C-Band section and move it if appropriate?

What's the signal level like on the BFBS transponder, presumably aimed at the Falklands? (4132 R 22500 DVB-S2 8PSK 3/5)

I'm curious as to whether they pass the DAB feed on via this one like they do on 10°E Ku band, as it seems to duplicate some of the European content according to Flysat (as well as the stations you'd expect like BFBS Falklands, Belize, Canada, etc).

Thanks!

Low signal level here in the Midlands at the moment on that frequency [ 2.45pm].... only managing 6dB or so on a 2.2 PF . GTCombo / TBS 6983 CS/EBSPro detects the frequency but will not lock.
I'll try a little bit later.

Strange I have 7.7db on a slightly bent 1.8M not far from you?

Did you want me to send you a TS File to look at?

I was a bit surprised myself - just checked again and it's about the same , the whole feed has been covered in snow for the last day or so and i'm wondering if iv'e got some water ingress into the works now that it's beginning to thaw. They've forcast 12° temp for Monday so looks like i'll have to give it a looking over.
