According to SES NSS806 been replaced by SES6.

Have scand right-pol and attach these, first NSS806 late SES6,
seems that some channels have become somewhat stronger.
Got just the lower part 3600-3900 Mhz, to many channels!

How is the strength of the rest of europé?

Big jump on 3602 a great comparison!
 
hi Lasseparabol nearly all the channels have gained in strenth,weak channels are now watchable it seems others have had power turned down a bit.
 
I scanned Ses 6 yesterday with my main feed and have found that signal quality is quite stronger then in the Nss 806 days. A blind scan for me came up with:

Tv: 283

Radio: 47

TP: 104
 
..Well I finally got round to re-entering and scanning the transponder list for this locaton on the arc..
There certainly is a lot more power to the new bird.
277 video channels logged with a large proportion of unencrypted.
47 Radio ..though these will be deleted to make space.
So easy to run out on the F15.
Not tried a blind scan as yet ..so possibly more in the way of feeds etc to get.
This afternoon I hope to get the Cband LNB back on the Gibby (offset 6 degrees) to see just how many of these re-energised channels are pulled in.

So ..LNB back on the 1.2 Gibby ..
Offset from focus approx 6 degrees ..and not twealed for max ..
I then went through the channels aready scanned and locked by Christina ..and at least 15 Transponders instantly lockabe ..and about half that number were almost locked on the F15 ..so presumably the count would be much higher with the lnb at the focus and tweaked for max signal.
Neil did very well ...and certainly makes this new bird interesting to Cbanders with limited dishes.
I would even suggest that at least half a dozen transponders would be do-able on a 1mtre dish..
Anyone want to give it a go ?

Sorry buddy ..you lost me there ..are you saying there is a multistream transponder moved to the new bird ?
 
Well it might not be new, but its marked as having ESPN Brazil in the clear in multistream.

Nope ...still lost ..
Checked both Lyngsat and Flysat ..and can find nothing listed for 4189L @40.5 west ??
where did you see it listed ?

Well I couldn't find a hint of anything with the F15 ..so scanned with the TBS ..
there looks to be a vert small hump in the scan trace at roughly 4189H ..
but nothing evident as a constellation ..
Perhaps it's local only to source ..ie a tight footprint over Brasil ?
Can you see anything on your side of the pond Costa ?

I don't have my circular feed hooked up at the moment but when I blind scanned this sat, 4189 L did not scan in at all. The closest I came to that tp was MTV Brasil on 4162 H(L).
 
Are you're using a TBS 6925 or similar card Costactc?
 
Obviously,the signal is much improved.Before I receive nothing from NSS 806, now I get 40 transponders on SES-6.

No card at all, just my X2 premium and my azbox premium+. I scanned this sat about 10 days ago, I'll insert the dilectric plate when I get a chance and report back. By the way, Ses 6 is much more powerful then the old Nss 806.

I asked due to it being multistream which neither of them boxes can view.
 
hi all did a scan last night got 273 video channels tried earlier on about 6 weakened off so no lock.
 
You lot are doing well. I only managed to scan 36 TV channels in.... Time for more play. Pretty weird watching something from the other side of the world!

hi can any one tell me if some of the transponders are turned down in power such as transponders 3998L,3866L,4132R,4143L,3776L and 4120R many thanks.
