40E Express AM7

Welp, tried 40E with my Fibo 90 but not really big enough. Just about managed to lock some transponders on 20E but not much beyond that.

I can only manage to lock 1 out of the 5 transponders I get on my gib. It's got 8 TV and 4 radio channels on it.

A T2 MI Transponder test, 3615R. (Also a scan check of 3635R, to be tested later).

Gibby 1.2M, Titanium C2W-PLL.

No, A normal Receiver will see a T2 MI transport stream as Data Transmission.

IS THIS OK FOR T2MI?

No. This is a modulator. You need a demodulator... and one that will take the stream from DVB-S2 transmission. In effect, it's modulated twice - once in T2 and then encapsulated in S2.

On the other hand, most DVB-S2 PC cards will work fine with T2 and additional software. But it's very clunky and messy.

More TP's added to 40E.

3557R GTRK Dagestan
3561R RGVK Dagestan-2
3569R RTPC-Komi
3577R GTRK Volgograd TRV
3590R TRK Euesta

As usual, the horizontals not locking for me.

RGVK Dagestan the only channel resolvable as a straight DVB-S QPSK, others T2 MI. Will need to do those on the more powerful Laptop.

Silly Question , how does the end user open T2MI streams ? I presume the end user is the general public? and they all don't have expensive tbs cards ?

The end user is for terrestrial rebroadcast.

Hi Captain Jack,

there are some satellites out there with weak signal (18.0°W 4026 R, some feeds on 58°W, using high FEC with 8PSK, complete 31.5°W, and others, 3.1°E 4037 L 1000 3/4 DVB-S2 8PSK is weak) . "Out of footprint" signals are not possible.

Best Regards
qwer.

OK, got round to doing the 3635R T2 MI PL0 mux.

STS, Domashnij Telecanal+2, TV3 Russia, TVZvezda+2 and TNT+2 OK, rest black screen - possibly encrypted ( Rosscrypt?)
