Extender panels.......

I will get out some bamboo canes and a couple of rolls of aluminium foil.

Once you have your 2.2m Precision dish installed that you mentioned the other week it might be worthwhile having a look to see if you can get a lock from a slightly more southerly UK location than John with an almost identical dish?

this is my lnb to test, but I don't know how to change the LNB servo (blue) to LNBF

This Chaparral support C and Ku, but C band is LNB only.

What a monster! Nice dish! I think it's the largest one on the forum?

Could well be the largest dish on the forum in hobbyist hands. Frank is an Ultimate Dish Man, he has done it his way unlike us wimps with our gimply little dishes. We UK members live on a small island populated by small dish men and mini dish men, restricted by local authority planning regulations.

Dish Man Classifications (IMHO)
3.5 metre or larger - Ultimate Dish Man
2.5 metre to 3.4 metre - Big Dish Man
1.6 metre to 2.4 metre - Small Dish Man
1.1 metre to 1.5 metre - Mini Dish Man
0.75 metre to 1.0 metre - Micro Dish Man
Less than 0.75 metre -- Nano Dish Man

The receiver pictures showing 40.5W were not from Frank with the 5 metre dish, they were from "Otokoc" who has a Prodelin 1244 dish o_O
The Thompson Saginaw actuator on the 5 metre dish will provide pleny tweaking options should they be required.

That could be the subject of an interesting topic, who are the forum big dish men by country and continent with dishes in regular use?
