The C band broadcasts are apparently available with a 2m dish throughout Europe.
Intelsat 11 at 43.1°W - LyngSat Maps

I tried to get a lock on the C band transponders recently from 43.1W with a Precision 2.0m dish and failed from a UK location. It might have been the dish/feed alignment that was not set correctly or partially blocked line of sight to the satellite. Have you tried to get signals with your Precision 2.2m dish that you said you were going to install?

Forum member "antrabe" in Spain should have a better chance than us folk in the UK as he is directly under the part of the footprint with strongest signal for Europe and the Northern tip of Africa?

@John

The 3878H frequency you locked on a scan with EBS Pro is an interesting one, what is the carrier bandwidth? From the FEC, Standard and Modulation types it should need around 7.9db for a lock for a video signal yet EBS sniffed it out at 2.8db. I could not see it listed on Lygnsat or Flysat.

check it "carefully": this is a MIS frequency (GS Stream)
alguien atrapa this ave en España [/ QUOTE]
¡¡Hola!! Yo lo tengo desde Barcelona!
parabolica 3.10m

After my half baked attempt at linear polarity in C-Band on 45.0W I thought I would give 43.1W a try. This time I had a little bit more luck resulting in locks on a couple of transponders.

CANAL 36
3877 V, SR 1546, DVB-S, QPSK, FEC 3/4, signal level required for a lock = 5.5db.
unencrypted

CNN Mux
4040 H, SR 30800, DVB-S, QPSK, FEC 7/8, signal level required for a lock = 7.2db
encryption = PowerVu

I have pasted a couple of screen captures below from the channels I locked.

I tried a few adjustments to the feed/scalar distance today to see if I could improve the signal level. There did not seems to be much scope but I gained a few tenths of a dB, just enough to completely lock all of the channels in the CNN mux on 4040 H, SR 30800. I was getting some breakup on these last night but they are all stable today.

I am quite close to locking one or two other transponders from 43.1W. Perhaps a bit more tweaking or a different LNB might help?

Attached below are pictures from all 8 channels in the CNN mux.
