Well, I´m the source from the facebook page. I won´t be home till wednesday evening, so I´m not able to take screenshots or give any details till then.

Great. As I can see in your profile you've got a fixed 1m for 39E/45E. Does this mean that you got 44.5E on this dish which looks to be aimed at 42E ?

It´s aimed at 39ºE Hellas sat 2. And 44,5ºE comes from the lnb for 45ºE.

So 5,5° in the offset and you're getting them. Under these circumstances might be that a 90cm or even smaller would get them at your location.

If your thought the orbital was bad, you haven't seen anything yet. The 1m Triax dishes are just horrible to set up.

hi -
i thought you might have a better signal further south.
i,m still getting 12312 R 17500 a bit weaker tonight due to cloud -- and the drizzle this morning stopped it locking - so its quite borderline here --

regards --

Newsflash! This morning there was no signal from Nimiq 1. Now the active transponders are 12224, 12311 and 12341, all with sr 17500 and R polarization. I noticed that when I change the polarization at vertical, the signal becomes weaker. Here are some pictures.

hope the sky clears for you --

i just tried putting the t.p. in as H on the M3 and it was a fraction stronger,
and it grabbed the channels -- i have a slightly pixelated test card showing now -- l.o.l.
but it is holding a lock (just)

odd - as with the 1.8 F15 setup, like you V is a fraction better than H
must just be a l.n.b/receiver thing

cheers ---

as the skies were clear tonight i had a go with the 1.2 .
