45E Intelsat 12 multi streams

Hi Mike,


To be honest there is only the support forum from what i can see and i have not used it, I have garnished more information from the fellow owners from this site than anywhere else, there are some great threads about it and i tend to feel you learn more from other user's experience than anything else.

Just halfway through reading the mammoth main 29 page thread but without that thread i would probably have struggled to get it going at all, not had a PC based card for well over 7 years so a lot of catching up to do.

Pop over to _http://rickcaylor.websitetoolbox.com/ and find the Computer and USB Satellite Receivers and Recording Section - although US biased,it's where you can find Crazycat and other experts discussing aspects of TBS 6925 blindscanning etc.
 
Just one question a little off topic for this thread but does anyone know with the card how to get the loop through working, i would hate to think i have to leave the HTPC running all the time just for the Loop to work

If it is anything like the Loop on a dream box you might well get away with putting the HTPC to sleep/into hibernation and it may still work

On my DM500 I have to put it into standby, if I kill all power the loop doesn`t work (as far as I can remember, not tried it for a while)

I get that but on something like the DrHD with its loop out once in standby it still loops out no problem with a PC when shutdown you still get power to the motherboard which i would have thought would have been enough to power the loop through on the card.

Anyone else any other suggestions or have it working when PC is shutdown
