45W - 2 channels

Hi folks,

Can somebody test something for me?

I used to get 2 channels on 45W

RASD TV
Canal Info News

45W is the most westerly sat I can reach and handy, not to watch, but as a reference to ensure I've got the arch right. But although I get 4 unknown data channels with good 75% signal on 45W, the 2 TV channels I have no signal at all.

All the listing guides still show them as active. Just wondered if anybody can check for me and let me know if they are dead now.

Very strange i can not pick them up iam in the uk i can only get the data feeds off 45 w
 
RASD TV 46% on AzBox east coast of Ireland. No sign of Canal Info News. Data feed 90%.
 
Thank you. Guess they are too weak for me to pick up anymore.

I always had issues with the conexant tuners in my Cuberevo, but the sharp tuner used to pick them up. Not anymore.

Well m8's finally got round to doing my checks on these 2 channels
Used the TD110 ...in conjunction with the highest gain receiver I own ..the F15

RASD coming in at 8db above the noise ..
absolutely nothing from Infosat news..
0db..
..looks like its stopped broadcasting at least for now..

I'm guessing you are in Hastings with that location, you should be able to get RASD OK, I had an 80cm mesh up for a few days last week and it was around 50% on that. it's up around 65/70% on my 1m. CIN was on a couple of weeks ago having returned from a period of being off but it does appear to have gone again, I can't even see a bump in the noise if I scan for it.
 
Always been a tricky one to catch, signal has always seemed unstable on Canal Info for some reason. Could lock it last time i looked a couple of weeks ago, but not getting anything today.
 
I used to have problems with it locking on my old Skystar card due to the low symbol rate but the new Prof was fine. I guess the same variation in performance will be noticed in STBs.
