I'm being 2400 km away from the edges of Afghan footprint, but i'm getting two freq. of this:
11497H at 7.7 db & 11479H at 9.5 db.
I don't know if these are coming from the old express am 22, or the new one express am 6, but I wish the second one.

11479H 2200 about 4.3 dB and raining now. It was 5.4 dB earlier and locked. Sounds weird that this comes from AM22 steerable 1 beam? 11497H nothing.

Nothing in the 11450 to 11700 part of the band here just the normal TV 10950 to 11200 & feeds 12500 to 12750 a vastly reduced European service when compared to 12 months ago.
12517 V 2170 SNG1 Arabic news feed about the war in the ME.

In fact I dont believe it using steerable 1. 12668H (steerable 2) about same signal strenght than 11479H.

Maybe the russians have modified the steerable beam to be able to cover Uzbekistan. And maybe that explains why the old bird is still in use.

Just to make the situation more confusing, I think this is not the steerable beam.

Only 2 days back, I posted a thread about uzbekistan tv on 100 cms dish, in New Delhi.

Going by the footprints, 51.5 dbW beam touches my place, and believe me, this is not the strongest of the TPs. The signal never goes over 70%.
People in Kashmir, are not getting this TP on 60 cms dish. With that powerful beam, it should have easily come on 60 cms dish.

The Steerable are two spots and can also make adjustments as are adjustable.

Nothing for me either at 11006 H.

Looks like it moved to 10990 V 3110 3/4 and with a better signal, too. But is it on AM22 or AM6?
