Uzbekistan TV is gone from its original frequency and not yet seen on this new one. I don't see it being on the European beam as that doesn't really reach the country.

Ross will be disappointed...

And that AM6 Russian footprint doesn't even cover Uzbekistan well!
There's a neighbouring satellite that would fit better. ;)
No hint of a signal here, but it's not 14:30 yet over there...

No signal here on 11520 H 4800 I think it has moved to this spot beam on AM-6.

2 feeds active @ 53 east atm
12527 H 2100 S2 Religious (id=TV-101)
12593 H 2050 S1 War correspondent (id=Service-101)

I know but for some reason they never used it otherwise we would never have received it maybe the spot on AM22 did not work due to a malfunction or an admin error ??

William-1, Uzbekistan until today used the Wide European beam of AM22.
Uzbeks are aplenty in surrounding countries, therefore moving to a very limited Afghani spot beam is hard to imagine.

Well as discussed here the other 2 beams from AM-6 below do not cover Uzbekistan very well,

But it is more than possible that the Russian wide beam may be used for Uzbekistan & the footprint is slightly bigger than illustrated above ?

I'm afraid indeed the Afghan spot beam is in use william-1, even from Russia forum reports of no signal. :(

So from what I have gathered so far the new beams on AM-6 are very tight with no overlapping of signals unlike AM22 :(

12544 H 3000 2/3 S1 another feed from 53 east no idea what this one was as it vanished after the scan was completed :(

Looks like 53E, for the most part, will be of no use to us in Europe.

Yes going the same way as 28.3 east is to South West Europe & Nordic regions these tight footprints are very good for DTH but no good for DX tv :(

Had a report from Uzbekistan that they have no issues receiving it there - so that's that answered.

I'm being 2400 km away from the edges of Afghan footprint, but i'm getting two freq. of this:
11497H at 7.7 db & 11479H at 9.5 db.
I don't know if these are coming from the old express am 22, or the new one express am 6, but I wish the second one.
