Zone 2 Fixed at Astra 2
Gibertini XP 75 cm fixed at 30 west
Gibertini XP 1 meter motorised 53e to 27.5w
Technomate TM2600
Inverto Ultra Black
LG 55 UH770V
Octagon SX88+SE
My Location
Midlothian
hi good morning
trying to track any of the above sat do anyone knows the strongest tps for that line of sight is clear using 1m motorized dish. Thanks
 
60E nothing
66E 12601 H 2000 (radio only, huge signal 19 dB in the Netherlands)

Yes I know but I don’t think it tells the strongest and weakest TPS in any given area.

Thats because it changes with location!You can get a general idea from the beam maps - thats the best you will get

Most folk dont bother with much past 53E as the elevation is so low - trees houses & hills tend to get in the way
 
Didn't think I could get 68E any more owing to trees, but surprised myself, a bit like AM radio though signal comes and goes, near Uttoxeter..20210401_090332.webp20210401_090509.webp

The site - in conjunction with others such as Lyngsat - additionally provides a history of valid transponder frequencies and the dates they were accessible.

Transponder reception is also a result of the transmission parameters. Those with low symbol rate can often be received well outside the region given by the footprint.

Use of such sites - Lyngsat included - even if not contributing gives you the chance to participate proactively in new channel searches without waiting for other members to answer.

It's too low on the horizon for me but @Chr0nik has recently received it with 14db on a 1.2M:

Advice Needed - 45e - 53e - signal drops massively - arc or horizon \ obstruction

If you could add a stabiliser from the wall to just above the motor at the top of the "mast", that would make the whole arrangement more solid - maybe use the same sort of bracket that is already fixed to the wall, but inverted and mounted so that the "upstand is very close to the mast above...
