Just been looking for 57E on my 80cm mesh dish, thinking I wouldn't see anything. I was wrong.

I have life on

11184 V 1211 "serves 2"
11188 V 1774 "Duhok"
11191 V 1452 "Silemani"

62°E spot 2 is an easy catch too if you have line of sight. Nowt there though other than a few encrypted signals and data feeds.

The dish has to come down for a few weeks, soon. As the block is having roofing repairs and being painted etc, so the dish and motor has to come down, so the scaffolding can go up.

But as soon as it can go back up, I will be adjusting the end limits in the motor.

As the dish is able to move far more °E than what it is currently set to.

But I will be giving it ago :-)

68.5e is a relatively easy catch with the line of sight. Mostly religious stuff though

Probably old news but I have only just found out .
DUHOK has moved. The logo is kurdistan tv.
Now 11044V 1775 3/4.

It's new news to me, still no dish up in Sherborne, but the scaffolding is being taken down. So hopefully I can put the dish back up, and adjust the arc.

Can't see 57°E in the summer in Yeovil due to a very large tree :-(

80cm dish has been put back up. Adjusted the end stops,

The motor now goes 90°E to 45°W

Not had time to do any scanning.

Next time I go over I will try moving more easterly, and see what I can do.

90E?

Way below the horizon, Shirley?

In Somerset, your practical limit is 70e, though I did manage to lock 72e once. I had to remove hardware limits in my motor to get that far, so I am surprised yours would rotate to 90e (which would make the dish point at the ground beneath you!).

I still have to tidy it up yet, as builders aren't finished yet.

Dish is pointing at 1°w in this photo.

Forgot to say, this dish is in Sherborne.

Ah, that explains the 90E mystery - it's a 36v motor! SG99? I tried to use one on the Penta 85 but it wasn't suitable since the weird angled stub made the dish run into the motor before it got even to 40E.

I think it is an smr99g. (I have the box somewhere)
