Just the 'Tower' and the occasional Chinese feed stuff IIRC.

Haven't seen the European transponder on 61W for a while, but it's data only anyway, and it could be just me as I've peaked on the eastern side for 21 and 23E

Amazonas at 61W is / was a doddle here (see post #22 in this thread).

61.5W is however another matter, trying to catch the edge of CONUS beams in the UK is more than a little hopefull.

Thats right i tryed to get 61.5W i have a clear view and tryed with the correct feedhorn and lnb but no luck, I think i would have more luck getting Estrela do Sul 1 at 63.0°W than 61.5w what people need to remember is that to receive 61.5°W as they are circular you will need a circular L&R feed horn which is diffrent to a linear H&V feedhorn and a circular L&R LNB with out these you will lose a few DB i have both of them circular feedhorn & lnb and have had no luck with 61.5w with my 1.8m andrews I think you would need a 3 or 4 metre dish to stand a chance of geting that satellite

Dishnetwork changed their encryption method for the movie channels
and sports, it's just a matter of time before all channels are gone.
61.5w just has mostly u.s. locals anyway and is spotbeamed.
Time is running out for your experiments.

61.5 Has all international channels. One PPV channel. Also two Cricket channels.
Try 110W or 119W for english regular channels and PPV and Adult. (about 500 channels)
Best result use DSS standard LNB cost abot $20
2700, 4900,DP301-10 Receivers. 2700 cost abuot $50
Need ROM102 Card. It was abot $30 few month ago. Today it cost more than $200

Not even with that monster Likvid. 110W & 119W are below the horizon in Europe.

I am in eastern canada at 62 deg west recieveing 61.5. The only thing you may get right now are channels on transponder 12355, one of the stronger trsnsponders, all the other transponders are on the new code system but there are 2 channels on that transponder using the old code system. I am using Progdvb, V-Plug and a rom 102 image. Even at my location with a 1 meter dish and a invacom lnb the 61.5 has the weekest singnal of all the D**h sats which are a lot further away from me than the 61.5.

I would confirm that in Europe (Belgium) on my 3.8 Mtr I have never seen 61.5West and I do have a clear view to the horizon and I have several very expensive feehorns includer circlar polirization and PLL lnbs.

Would be great challenge on the west coast of Ireland with perhaps a 10 mtr though

kind Regards

Likvid, does your friend have that 4m dish motorized ? It would be very interesting to know what he gets there from European and North American Satellites.

Where in Greenland is he located ?

Happy new year to all :)
