7020 noob problems

My Satellite Setup
VU+Duo, Vu+Duo2, Vu+Zero, Gibi 1.5m, TBS 6903 PCI

Hi, Just got my box this morning after doing some homework on it so was feeling confident, but ive hit a few probs i was hoping someone can help me with:
I have installed Gemini 4.30 image and rather than load a channel list i prefared to do my own scan of sats and channels But 1W is not on the list! Am i missing summat?
Also i went to blue panel to instal Camd and ccamd so did that, then installed config for them both but couldnt find k**Ys for any of them in Addons or AES for them as i understoodyou have togo into user script to run online updater?
I hope ive made myself a little clear :confused:

Have You checked 1W ? so U know that U have a lock on it ?
 
i forgot to mention i am using USALS as i am familiar with it but 1W is not on the sat list for me to scan in,
 
Now after lots of re-flashing/booting 1W has suddenly appeared on my list so the easy bit is sorted.
Put simply i am now struggling with which emu to install? EMU config? Does it need keys? And where they are installed?
I see lots of ppl saying in var/bin lol but i see lots of those folders.

Flashing image - no probs
connecting to net - no probs
ftp - no probs

Sorry for all the questions but
If someone can help i would be eternally grateful as i am feeling rather tense lol

If you can connect the box to the internet, then use the blue button and Addons which will take you to the Gemini site
Install emus and plugins.
Tip:Use a flash USB, otherwise you will run into memory shortage soon.
 
Thanks for that, i have eventually got up and running...well crawling really. 9 hours later lol.
Is there a easy way of knowing which emu is suitable for which package and what is available?
hope that made sense.
