Hi folks, we had so much fun with the 80's party last weekend that we have decided to do a 70's party this weekend.

My apologies for the late start this evening - we were supposed to start at teatime but Id forgotten I was out for much of the evening at the annual works golf tournament......

Now we arent going to have so many pop videos as such for this decade - it was really only the late 70's that videos really took off.

First time I heard of this amazing guitarist was when this track came out in the late 70's. This LP was probably his best record since the Fleetwood Mac days. Nice tune - enjoy :)

Marvin Gaye, riddled with demons but voice of an angel. What's going on is a great record, still listening to it on the old player once in a while.

Sung by an old friend of mine, Tony Burrows, part of Edison Lighthouse, an iconic seventies song, Love grows where my Rosemary goes. The ultimate session singer, Tony had a string of hits including United we Stand, Gimme Dat Ting, Beach Baby, Let's got to San Fransisco, etc etc. It is reported that he was banned from Top of The Pops, when he appeared in three acts on the same show.
