Smashing thread! Oh to be back then, without a care in the world. How cool was Jonny Marr?

Used to like a lot of the Smiths stuff, just couldn't stand the pretentious dick Morrissey and he hasn't improved with age.:)

I tried to like the Smiths stuff but just couldn't.

No - when Ive got some time one weekend Im intending to reactivate it.

I was hoping for last Friday, but I spent that breaking my Vu+ instead :D

Eddie Money - Take me home Tonight - I've heard it over the years but just realised how good the video with Ronnie Spector is

70's + 80's for me are the best era of the music I've ever loved. One can find plenty of fun and find new things to find out. The Soundtracks, The musi, everything was fine.

Dont think we have had this one yet.

Its Asia again and Go. From the third album Astra - a sadly underrated album. Much darker music as we were in the middle of the Cold War by now.

A hit from the '80s. Well, '91 actually, but we have stretched the point earlier on.

Apposite perhaps for those frustrated with large immovable objects in the way of their dishes :-DOH!

Ah.....I think this genre is classed as "urban rap". Lots of scratchin' going down on that track....
