AMC 9 at 83w. SES has lost communication with that satellite SES is moving feeds to other satellites.

Could it be a relocation or normal end-of-life manoever instead?
The Center of Box table shows a planned drift of 0.5°W/day, starting on June 20.

Now the Center of box table has changed, still showing drift, but less, and starting later.
That looks abnormal, indeed...

They have lost complete communication with it they have a posting over at satelliteguys about it.

Sounds like a hit from some orbital debris or a micro meteorite, lots of junk up there. Sudden and energetic could point to the meteor.

Meanwhile, AMC-4 has left 67.0°W and instead of drifting to 134.9°W as planned earlier, according Center of Box is now planned to arrive at 85.0°W end of June.
While 85.0°W is already occupied by AMC-16, AMC-6 and the inclined AMC-2 !
AMC-4 has arrived at 85.0°W.
Next move is AMC-6, from 85.0°W to 83.0°W within a few days.

nothing on 83w
85w has 3 data only tp's

12060 h 30000
12101 h 30000

I'll give you good odds that a piece of debris from AMC9 has impacted Echostar 3

It may be due the orbiting Reptilians launch toroide, it being out of place could cause the micro minny black hole at it's center to disrupt satellite orbits, or make them disappear all together.

It should be several thousand kilometers above the Clark belt but who knows now days.

Some sort of "energetic event "on board AMC-9 from this analysis of the orbital change

I would say AMC9 is a total loss.
I love the video on that page. For the wrong reasons, but it's interesting to see the satellite drifting away from its position and apparently breaking up into two. Something must have definitely hit it - or there was an explosion on board. They don't just separate!

AMC-9 is now also gradually being raised to graveyard altitudes (> 36000 km), see graph below.

A few days ago it was reported that Galaxy-11, inclined satellite launched in 1999, is shedding debris.
The satellite is still at 93.1°W I read, can't check myself now.

An American satellite is partially disintegrating in orbit, endangering other spacecraft circling Earth, Russian scientists warned on Saturday.
The craft in question is the US geostationary communications satellite Galaxy 11, operated by satellite services company Intelsat,

according to the Moscow-based Keldysh Institute of Applied Mathematics at Russia’s Academy of Sciences.
Telescopes have been following several small-sized fragments that detached from Galaxy 11 and now pose a potential threat for other satellites in orbit.
